Meet Emma’s Real World Friends
Emma has some good friends in the real world who have been collaborating for several years now to share her story with readers. Here’s a little bit of information about each of them:
Brian James Freeman
…is the author of Walking With Ghosts, The Painted Darkness, Blue November Storms, The Echo of Memory, The Halloween Children (with Norman Prentiss), and Darkness Whispers (with Richard Chizmar). He has also edited numerous anthologies including Detours and Midnight Under the Big Top.
With his wife Kate, he runs Lividian Publications, a small press dedicated to publishing significant works of literature in elegant editions. They have three kids, two dogs, and not enough hours in the day.
Vincent Chong
…is a freelance illustrator and designer living in the UK. Since 2004 he has worked for clients around the world on a wide variety of projects ranging from book and magazine illustration to concept art for film and tv and is most known for his work in the fantasy, horror and SF genres.
Vincent has received a World Fantasy Award and multiple British Fantasy Awards for his artwork as well as being shortlisted for a Hugo Award and British Science Fiction Asscociation Award.

…was founded by Richard Chizmar in 1988, and is widely-considered the world’s leading specialty press publisher of horror and dark suspense.
